I am HUGE into family traditions....passing on important memories as well as special items down for future generations to remember and use.
Check out my blog from last year, One Well Worn Pot and Spoon that I featured an important family tradition and specially loved pot and wooden spoon that was passed on from my husband's mother to me (and a fantastic peanut brittle recipe). I can't wait some day to pass on the antique pot and spoon for my children to be able to create Marge's peanut brittle just as I did, and so did she.
It seems like now a days most kitchen/cooking products are made to wear out quickly. They don't stand up well or very long to normal use. Notice how I used the word "MOST".
I have had the privilege to try out, and now review AND GIVEAWAY an amazing hand crafted Popcorn Popper.
Authentic Jacob Bromwell Since 1819....
Back in 1819 Jacob Bromwell has an idea...handcrafted, quality baking, cooking and food preparation products that American families could count on to last year after year.
Did you know Bromwell is recognized nationwide as the oldest known manufacturer of corn poppers? And guess what? The design that brought the pleasure of popping corn into their homes of Americans more than 150 years ago remains basically unchanged today.
Fast forward ohhhh almost 200 years and the Jacob Bromwell Company still continues the fine tradition, including handcrafting their Original Popcorn Poppers.
ALMOST 200 YEARS!! That says it all. For a company to survive that long, you know their products are high quality.
One of the BEST part is The Lifetime Guarantee an all Jacob Bromwell's products!
If it every breaks...they will fix it!
I was so excited when the package arrived in the mail. The popcorn popper was beautiful and unique. We waited for the perfect night to try it out over out backyard firepit. It was perfect!
The fire was extremely hot, but the Jacob Bromwell Popcorn Popper held up beautifully to the heat. And the clean up was so easy (Dishwasher safe!)
My boys loved the popcorn and the whole experience of hearing and smelling it. It was so easy to make. 3 Tablespoons of oil and 1/3 cup of popcorn and a nice fire. But if you don't have a fire you can use your stove top.
Now my only two problems are ..... Keeping enough popcorn kernels on hand...and...figuring out which of my son's this Excellent hand crafted popcorn popper is going to be passed down to in years to come.
Now on to the giveaway details.....

All of myCHILDREN absolutely LOVE popcorn so I would pass it onto myCHILDREN, starting from Oldest to Youngest (6 and counting)... meaning, I would pass it to the Oldest for 1 year with the condition that it be passed to my next child after 1 year - when it has been passed to all my children I will then continue the new tradtion by passing it to my grandchildren (should I have any; if not, I will save it until I do) under the same conditions :D

(I really like being able to sift out the unpopped kernels). Another item that I would love for camping would be the Campfire Oven here: http://www.jacobbromwell.com/authentic-campfire-oven

Seeing the All American Flour Sifter really brought back memories of when I was a child helping my mother bake. I tried to find one of these sifters after I got married but they only sold the type where you have to squeeze the handle. I even thought about getting one at an antique store. I am so glad to see that I can buy one now and it is new(ready to pass down to my grandchildren). Would love to win the popcorn popper.
