I love to relax in the evening and take my two dogs for a walk.  It is a great way to unwind after a crazy day and has added benefits like: Exercise, Burning up some extra calories, and getting my dogs much needed time outside.

 To change the setting you just have to push the button in again.  So far so good on how our Safe Glow Collars have held up.  The clasp seems like it is going to last forever.  It snaps together very firmly.  I like that the collars are offered in different adjustable sizes to meet your pet needs.  Here is the sizing chart.

Our lab named Lucky took the large size and it works perfectly.  I will admit that I haven't taken him by our local lake with this collar on.  I am concerned what might happen if it gets wet and we like it too much to have it possibly ruined. 

And I can't forget to mention our Corgi, Radar wears a size medium and he has a lot of room to get bigger and it still will fit after some adjustment.  If you don't have a dog, I think a smaller size would fit a cat perfectly.

So as a recap - the features I love are:

How easy it is the adjust for size and it stays in place.

The three speed feature of the LED light that will last almost forever.

Contes Pasta Company - Wheat and Gluten Free Pasta and Pizza Items Review

Contes Pasta Company has been an answer to many of my family's prayers.  Flavorful pasta that comes in so many different varieties that is Wheat and Gluten Free.  Look at the amazing selection of pasta and products I received to help me share my amazing experience with their quality food items.

"In 1970, Angela Conte came to America with her husband Mario and their three children. Coming from the Abruzzi region of Italy, Angela brought with her the time-honored traditions of generations past."  By 1978 Angela and her family opened up an amazing restaurant.  And customers raved about her handmade pasta and wanted to buy it to prepare it at home. 

With the hard work of Angela's son Mike the Contes Pasta Company was founded and grew by leaps and bounds.  The business expanded to the point machines were needed to keep up with the demand.  Only the finest equipment is used to still give each item the handmade look and feel.

As the years passed the line of Contes Pasta grew to include many items like pizza and garlic bread and then in 2007 they began their Wheat and Gluten Free line of products.

Contes Margherita Pizza with Roasted Garlic and Olive Oil is delicious and perfectly balanced with its flavors and textures.  The crispy but not hard crust reminds me of lavash (a crispy flat bread).  The sweet pungent flavor of garlic was perfection in my mouth.  Now we we only had some left.

Contes Pasta even offers a variety of Gluten and Wheat Free Cheese Stuffed Shells.

And of course they offer Ravioli.  Oh, the Ravioli!  My family is in LOVE with it.  It is so delicate and creamy.  I have no idea how they had done this without wheat or gluten, but they have with grace and skill.  It boils up perfectly.  I loved to cook both the cheese filled and the spinach and cheese filled together.  It is fun to see what kind you are going to get with each flavor filled bite.

These are the cheese raviolis and below the spinach and cheese. 

The Pierogies are so filling and comforting.  What a feel good meal.  They are so smooth and satifying.  I love eating my Contes plain or with a little spray of butter.  Yumm!!

Week 7 Nutrisystem A Stressful Week #NSNation

Week 7 is over and done...and boy it has been a stressful one with life around my house.  We have had a lot of major unexpected changes happening.

I have done my best to get in most of the Nutrisystem meals this past week.  I will admit I had to miss some and not get in all the food I was supposed to.  So if anything, I ate less than I am expected and I know that can be just as bad as eating too much.

Along with not eating all the food I should be daily; in turn has lead to my workouts increasing to help me deal with all the stress.  I have been working out at least twice a day, which feels great.  I can't imagine dealing with the stress we as a family currently are and being the weight I was prior to Nutrisystem.  So, even though things are very challenging right now, I can get out of bed and smile at my new body...that is changing for the better, everyday!  So as you can tell, I am still on an amazing workout stretch....I haven't missed a single workout yet!  So that means 49 days straight.

My big stresser that will be happening during week 8, along with what has happened this week is I will be traveling to Texas for a HUGE training conference for work.  I am very excited and nervous.  This training is going to be amazing and I know I am going to learn a bunch.  But, I am scared as I am not going to be able to eat just Nutrisystem meals.  Granted I will be bringing along my shaker cup and delicious Nutrisystem protein shakes and breakfast bars to enjoy to start my day. 

But I am not sure how I am going to make my morning snack work and lunch.  I know I will be okay!  Nutrisystem has given me a lot a pointers to help with my success while I am gone.  Plus they have a great gym where I am going.  So I am not hoping for much of a weigh loss next week and if I gain a little back, I am mentally prepared for that too.

But this week I did keep losing, though not as much as many of my other weeks.  But every little bit makes a difference.  I can't wait for next week and I will measure again.  I know that will show a huge difference, as I had to get holes drilled into my belts this week.

So, I lost 1.8 pound this week!  Thank you Nutrisystem.  

Week 1 - lost 3.5 pounds
Week 2 - lost 3.5 pounds
Week 3 - lost 2.8 pounds
Week 4 - lost 1.6 pounds
Week 5 - lost 5.8 pounds
Week 6 - lost 3.5 pounds
