I found myself the other day stopping by my favorite coffee shop. A coffee shop I visit at least weekly. I am so predicable and order the same drink every time (expect at the holidays - I love the seasonal flavors). It feels like I am on auto pilot and just getting caught up in the whole daily routine.
I was thrilled when I jumped away from this boring routine and experience something so flavorful and bright I had to find out more! Who is wondering what I did?
Okay, I was hungry...something so simple and primal.
Every time sitting in the coffee shop line, I saw an ad from the Alternative Baking Company, Inc. So when it was my turn I asked what they had for something sweet to snack on. The worker mentioned the Alternative Baking Company's line of Vegan Cookies. She began listing off an amazing and gourmet line of cookies (14 different varieties offered).
I selected the Cranberry Orange Muffin Cookie. It was mind blowing with bright and complex flavors....not to mention this cookie was HUGE and moist...and gone way to fast!
Much to my dismay, after returning home and looking up Alternative Baking Company on Facebook, I learned this treasure had been discontinued.....sad.....so.....sad! I reached out this this High quality Vegan Company to see what other treasure they had to offer my palette.
Alternative Baking Company sent me out two of their hand made Cookies to review.
I knew this was going to be a new favorite as soon as I opened the package. The delightful aroma of toasted coconut greeted me. This Alternative Baking Company cookie was moist and chewy...chocked full of coconut and so rich. I am going to warm my next cookie up...it will be just like it came out of my oven...only better...no dishes to clean up.
What a perfect holiday cookie. This cookie made me feel so warm and secure. It was full of delicious spices. A relaxing way to end my day. Thank you Alternative Baking Company.

Before I share my experiences, did you know Alternative Baking Company's cookies are made daily in small hand made batches and their cookies contain no dairy, no eggs, no honey, no hydrogenated oils, no cholesterol, no preservatives, no artificial ingredients or refined sugars....So much NO.....But so good, moist and full of flavor!!!
The new seasonal flavor - Coconut Macaroon

Thanks for the review...I've heard such good things about them and have always wanted to try them! I think either of those flavors would be superdelicious as bookends to an ice cream sandwich...in my case with one of the chocolate flavors from Soy Delicious. Yumyumyum! :)
