I am so excited to share all about a company I just found in a neighboring state, Colorado.
Their philosophy is simple: flavor first, heat second. Their sauces are made to complement, not overwhelm food. I would also like to add...not just food, but how about drinks also. Yes I said drinks as I have come up with the best Bloody Mary you have ever had using two of Captain Spongefoot Trading Companies products. *Don't worry! I will share my newly created recipe in just a minute...so keep reading.*
Okay before I can get to my amazing recipe, I need to share a little bit about the TWO MOST IMPORTANT ingredients that set my "Captain Spongefoot Spicy Bloody Mary" apart from any one you have ever had! (Captain Spongefoot provided me with these two amazing products to review and give away to one of my lucky bloggy friends.)
The first is Captain Spongefoot Steak Wash. It is designed to compliment that fresh grilled flavor (and dry rubs) and mix with steak juices to form an aujus on the plate. It is a beautiful dark brown color with the consistency of Worcestershire sauce. I could drink this straight out of the bottle, it is that good. I enjoyed the slight kick of heat in the back of my throat. I looked at the ingredients and it must be from the wasabi.
The second is Captain Spongefoot Original Wing Sauce. It features those sharp peaky vinegar overtones designed to stimulate the upper palate. This sauce coats a wing perfectly and keep you coming back for more...more sauce that is! What perfect coating sauce. It is nice and thick and will cling to anything!
Okay, Okay....it is time to unveil my earth shattering drink thanks to Captain Spongefoot.
