Purex Complete with Zout Detergent Review / Giveaway - 2 Chances to win!!

I am so proud to be a Purex Insider.  It has been such an awesome experience so far.  I get the opportunity to try the great new products and share these products with my bloggy friends.

The newest addition to Purex has been Purex Complete with Zout.  Purex must have been reading my mind.  With three young boys in my house, I am CONSTANTLY stain treating everything, it seems like in my loads.  And the best part is my stain treating favorite is Zout.  And with Skin Allergies in our house they also make Purex Complete with Zout in Free & Clear.

I have now used the entire bottle of Purex Complete with Zout Free and Clear and I am in love!  It is the best and I can't imagine using anything else.  It keeps up with our family of boys and ALL the Stains that come along with them.

Is Purex Complete with Zout hypoallergenic?


Yes, both of the formulas, Fresh Morning Burst and Free & Clear, have been tested and found to be hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin. The Free & Clear formula contains no dyes or fragrances.




What is it:


Purex Complete with Zout combines the proven performance of Purex detergent with the triple-enzyme stain-fighting power of Zout stain remover.

How it Fights Stains:

Purex Complete with Zout contains 3 powerful stain-fighting enzymes. Each Enzyme targets a different type of stain:

Protease: Works against protein based stains such as grass and blood

Amylase: Works against starchy stains such as chocolate and tomato sauce

Mannanase: Works against guard, which is used as a thickener in many foods, such as ice cream, BBQ sauce and salad dressing, because it’s super sticky. Unfortunately it really sticks to fabrics too, making stains very difficult to remove. That’s why the Mannanase enzyme is so important in Purex Complete with Zout.

How to use it:

Purex Complete with Zout can be used as both a pre-treater and a detergent making it great for everyday laundry and heavily soiled loads

For normal wash loads, use it just as you would a normal detergent.

For really tough stains, poor a little directly on the stain and rub into fabric. Let it sit for 5 minutes before putting it into the washer.

Purex Complete with Zout is specifically formulated to work in both traditional and High Efficiency (HE) washer.

    All Purex detergents areDual Compatible, meaning they work equally well in High Efficiency (HE) washing machines and standard washing machines.

    I learned:
    How To Remove Crayons Stains From Cotton

    Always follow garment label instructions when pretreating and laundering your clothes. For colored garments, test an inside seam for colorfastness. If the garment is washable, follow the instructions below.

    Harden crayon wax with ice, then remove surface wax with a dull knife. Place crayon stain between clean paper towels and press with a warm iron. Replace paper towels regularly to absorb more wax and to prevent transferring the stain. Once most of the wax is absorbed into the towel, sponge remaining stain with Zout® stain remover or Fels Naptha laundry bar soap then blot with paper towel. Let dry, wash with Purex® detergent in the warmest water recommended on the garment label. Note: If any color remains, relaunder with a color safe bleach (or chlorine bleach for white fabric).
