In Memory of a Little Angel - It is been 2 years today....

In memory -

KayLynn

We little knew that day,

God was going to call your name.

In life we loved you dearly,

In death, we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you.

You did not go alone.

For part of us went with you,

The day God called you home.

You left us beautiful memories,

Your love is still our guide.

And although we cannot see you,

You are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken,

And nothing seems the same,

But as God calls us one by one,

The chain will link again.

I took these photos a few weeks ago when we all went out and visited KK (that is what the boys called KayLynn and still do).  We decorated her tree with Easter eggs.  We encourage our boys to remember the good times they had with KK....as every time we remember her precious life....she still is and always remains part of our lives.

It is difficult to think 2 years ago today she was taken from all of us at the young age of 5.

I smile remembering how she could eat candy 24 - 7 and never want anything else to eat....she was such a picky eater :)  Here favorite colors were pink and purple.  She had such a huge heart and love Pre-school, especially scaring Miss Jill with fake snakes.
KayLynn we all dearly miss you so much and celebrate your life and spirit today!

  1. Wow this just amazes me!! To even think about this breaks my heart. We were so close in time when my appenix had to come out. Scared me to know she went through the same thing. And even though I never met this wonderful little girl. I would have given my life for her any day anytime!! Knowing Annie and Dom I would do anything for them. This little girl will always be in my heart!!! Love Britt <3

  2. I am SO sorry for your loss. She looks like a precious little girl, and I bet the world is definitely worse off without her in it.
I think I'll hug my kids a little tighter tonight because of this.
    Thanks for sharing.
