Poppa D's Nuts was founded by a great group of friends so close they considered themselves family.  So naturally they had to name their favorite nut after their favorite Poppa - Rodney D! And when they couldn't stop popping them in to their mouths...History was made.

Poppa D's Nuts is based in the Good Ol' USA - right in Orlando, Florida.  They are currently in most 7-Elevens in Florida and all Kwik Shops in Nebraska (GO BIG RED! GO BIG RED!) , Kansas and Iowa.

Believe it or not, Poppa D's Nuts were followed by USA Today for 6 months in the Money Section as part of the small business challenge.  And as you can see.....Poppa D's Nuts are going strong today.

I was excited to be given the opportunity to sample, review and host a giveaway featuring Poppa D's Nuts.

First of all I want to say I am a HUGE fan of Redskin Peanuts.  I think they have a unique flavor all their own and I would have never thought to combine such a perfectly sweet match, like Poppa D's Nuts created.

Even squirrel's want to enjoy them!

The butter Toffee coating was nice and light, it was not difficult to bite/crunch through like other Butter Toffee nuts I have tried in the past.  The coating did not stick in my teeth, which I greatly appreciate.  I could taste the freshness of the redskinned peanuts and their flavor was not covered up by the buttery sweet toffee.  I totally understand why the name of these peanuts was chosen...I couldn't stop poppin em' in my mouth.  Delicious.
