Jake's Barbecue Sauce and Seasonings mission is to be the world's best provider of pure All Natural Barbecue Sauce, Dry Rub Seasonings and gourmet Marinades.
Mission Accomplished.......
Jake's California based company born in 2001 from three generations of barbecue experts specializing in the production of pure and natural barbecue sauce, dry rubs and marinades. Over the years they have been fortunate to grow their business to well over 600 locations in which Jake's products are sold.
I am so excited that summer is still around, as BBQ is a passion of my husband's and I. We love trying new BBQ products and techniques. I love trying to find a BBQ product that is different and unique. Something that leaves your taste buds wonder in a good way "what just happened".
Jake's provided me with that chance to try something new, something we had never tried before. Jake's sent me two of their products to sample and review (Tri-Tip, Steak and Rib Rub and Medium Hot BBQ Sauce + one of my lucky blogger friends is going to win 2 bottles of Jake's Dry Rubs.
Jake's Medium Hot BBQ Sauce was so eye appealing. It is a beautiful deep dark red! The aroma that met my nose upon opening this jar was a sweet, spicy combination that "screamed" out "Taste Me!"
The heat was not over powering. It woke up my taste buds without burning them off. You can taste the love that goes into each and every jar of this homemade barbecue sauce. I enjoyed the smoky flavor that was married perfectly to Mr. Jalapeno, Mr. Habanero and Miss Ginger.
Jakes' Best Selling Tri-Tip, Steak and Rib Rub Seasoning made Santa Maria Style. You ask what is Santa Maria Style? Jake's blend in the basics of Santa Maria style with compliments of tarragon, smoked hickory salt and more.
I learned so much about Rubs thanks to Jake's. Did you know Jake's dry rub will permeate and tenderize your meats in under an hour leaving you with nothing but all natural dry rub flavor! Most other rubs take at least 3 to 5 hours to do the same job. The rub is beautiful to look at. I was surprised to see all the different seasoning used and I was able to physically see each and every one.
Now to share my way I tried out Jake's BBQ Medium Hot Sauce (this is one of my favorite simple burger recipes.). Take 2 pounds of your favorite grilling hamburger and add 1/2 cup to 3/4 of a cup of Jake's BBQ Medium Hot Sauce, and 1 package of dry ranch mix. Mix until well incorporated. Patty the burgers out and get busy grilling up perfection. As a condiment I combine 1/2 ranch dressing and 1/2 Jake's BBQ Medium Hot Sauce (Trust me on this one!). Jake's made my ordinary burger, extraordinary! The heat it added was awesome!
Jake's Barbecue Sauce and Seasonings Motto is "Give so others may live." They want to inspire their customers to contribute to worthwhile organizations that seek to support the needy. And even though our customers may not contribute directly to Stand Up To Cancer, The Children's Leukemia Research Association, The UNCF, The American Heart Association, or The American Diabetes Foundation, we select a deserving organization from this list and provide 5% of our quarterly profits in the form of contributions.
Thank you Jake's as a Cervical Cancer Survivor, you are making a difference one bottle or shaker at a time!

ReplyDeleteSteaks and chops continue to cook after they are removed from heat. It is best to remove them 5 degrees before the desired doneness on the chart. The meat will continue to cook in the time it takes to serve. When preparing roasts, preheat the oven at least 30 minutes prior to cooking.
