Rudi's Organic Bakery Bread and English Muffin Product Review

Have you ever heard of Rudi's Organic Bakery?

If you haven't, you are missing out on something very special.

Rudi's Organic Bakery was founded in 1976 in Boulder, Colorado.  I love the fact they decided to go into business as they couldn't find a bread that was good enough to make their families happy.  They had a healthy, holistic and optimistic approach to life and believed that eating healthy went along with being happy.  They wanted food, especially bread that fit their belief.

Rudi' Organic Bakery is a small time business that has an excellent work ethic which is near and dear to my heart and family.  I love the fact that they are creating healthy Organic and Gluten Free Products because they want what is best for all of us and our families.  They are passionate about all the bakery goods they make and understand the importance of using high quality ingredients to create a healthy delicious bread!

Rudi's shared four of their Organic bread products with me so I could review them and share more about their USA owned and operated business.

My absolute favorite had to be the Artisan Rosemary Olive Oil Bread.  I have never had bread like this before.  The rosemary was so fragrant, especially after lightly toasting this heavenly bread.  The slices were very big and oblong.  It was moist and also made a delicious sandwich with the added flavor of the rosemary.  I am a huge rosemary fan and this marriage thanks to Rudi's was meant to be!

The Honey Sweet Whole Wheat Rudi's Bread had the best body for creating a PB & J sandwich.  The hint of honey goodness combined with the PB & J made for a memorable sandwich.  The bread held up well to the jelly and didn't stick to the roof of my mouth, which many breads have the problem.  I enjoy the fact Rudi's Honey Sweet Whole Wheat bread becomes part of the food experience and not just a lifeless addition to other food toppings.

I am a huge sourdough bread fan.  I always have been and always will be.  Rudi's Rocky Mountain Sourdough Bread did not disappoint me or my family's taste buds.  It had a perfect balance of sour and tartness.  Our favorite way to enjoy a slice or two was by toasting and lightly buttering the sourdough bread...and adding a light sprinkle of sea salt.  My boys call it salt toast and asked for it until the loaf was gone.  Least to say it didn't last more than two days.  I am still missing it and craving it's sourness.

From past experience most english muffins are pretty thin and flavorless.  Rudi's Harvest Seeded English Muffins, "These whole grain English muffins blend wholesome flax, pumpkin and sunflowers seeds with rich wheat flour, rolled oats and cornmeal for a light variety of harvest tastes to complement a touch of jelly or a pat of butter." are a step above the rest!  They are hearty and complex.  They have a lot of textures and nutty undertones.  I enjoyed eating these English Muffins and would recommend them to anyone who hasn't found an english muffin they really like...as this will make you change your mind.
