I can't believe how remarkably simple and wholesome Manna Bread is.  It is made entirely from sprouted organic grains, seeds, fruits & nuts. It contains no salt, leavening, yeast, oil, or sweeteners.

By fully germinating their grains, they convert the starches into easily digested natural complex sugars, similar to those found in fresh fruits, hence the sweetness. The sprouts are ground and hand-shaped into loaves, baked at a low temperature, then packed and frozen to preserve shelf life, without any chemical additives.

I had NO idea something so basic and simple, could taste so GOOD!  I have never had bread like this in my entire life.  I loved the moist feel of the Manna, but there was so much more.  Manna Bread is full of texture from all the sprouted grains and is very satisfying.

The Bread arrived in perfect condition.  Manna Organics is so committed to taking care of the planet they used packaging peanuts that are made of biodegradable starch from corn or potato.  They can be dissolved in water or used as compost.

CARROT RAISIN: Sprouted organic wheat kernels, filtered water, organic carrots, organic raisins

This flavor was so naturally sweet, yet had a tangy after note.  I can't get over how moist it was. I enjoyed the dense feel in my mouth.  It was very satisfying. 

WHOLE RYE: Sprouted organic rye kernels, filtered water

This whole rye loaf was beyond simple and pure.  It is perfect!  It was so nutty and fresh.   I loved to enjoy it with a light spread of butter and a sprinkle of salt. You can see by the photo all of the moist fermented grains, which added the best texture.

Each loaf of Manna Bread came sealed in a wrapper and then placed into another bag to help seal in the freshness.

Okay everyone this one was my Absolute Favorite!!!  Where do I even begin?  It was tangy, sweet, sticky, moist and crunchy. Oh the assorted seeds on the top of the loaf!!!  The flavors are in perfect balance.  I am now salivating as I am typing this...I wonder if I have any left??

Who has ever seen Sourdough bread look this way?  I know I haven't until I received my loaf from Manna Organics.  This bread was a little dry for my tastes plain, but toasted with a little butter and it was perfect.

GoodOnYabar was nice enough to send me out a sample kit which contained all three of their Organic Healthy, Tasty bars to try out and let my followers hear what I thought.

The Breakfast Bar was my favorite! How could it not when it contains the following healthy organic ingredients: 100% Organic Cold Milled Flax, 100% Pure Organic Maple Syrup, 100% Organic Raw Hemp Seeds, 100% Organic Raisins, 100% Organic Raw Sunflower Seeds, 100% Organic Raw Brazil Nuts, 100% Organic Unfiltered Olive Oil, 100% Organic Dark Chocolate, Celtic Sea Salt.

I enjoyed the texture of the bar, it was dense and chewy.  I loved the nutty complexity of flavors with the slight salty touch noticed every now and again.  I am amazed at how GoodOnYabar was able to turn these healthy ingredients in to such a palate pleaser.  I can't wait to place an order for these bars to have on hand.

The Peanut Butter Chocolate bar is a "no brainer" like the GoodOnYabar site states.  What is there not to love?  The peanut butter is not over powering and marries nicely to the dark chocolate pieces.  The texture is firm, but very moist and chewy.  It is a very satisfying healthy treat.  One I have to fight my children for :)

The last bar I sampled was the Peanut Butter Honey bar.  To be totally honest, I saved this one for last because I am not a huge fan of straight honey.  I was concerned that honey was going to be a huge flavor profile with in the bar.  Much to my pleasure it wasn't.  I seemed like the honey added a touch of sweetness to this moist, chewy treat.  Upon opening this bar I was met with a sweet, nutty aroma of peanuts, which made me look forward to my first bite.  This was a definite do again.

Newman's Own Organics Review and Giveaway of 4 Products, Even treats for your Dog $20 Value

I have been very blessed her recently with excellent companies willing share their products with me to review and share with a few lucky winners.  But I think it will be hard for another company to top what Newman's Own Organics sent me to sample (I use that term lightly, as you will soon see) and review on my blog.

I couldn't believe all the full size items they sent for our family.  Even our dogs weren't left out!  And the best part is this fantastic company even carries more items then these....

All the dog treats where a HUGE hit with our furry family members.  I think the Salmon and Sweet Potato were their favorite.  I loved the fact the treats were all a nice size (some hearts) and firm.  One the the treats even had a break mark, so I could easily snap it in half which was perfect for our Corgi. One of the four products you can win is a bag of the Salmon and Sweet Potato Dog Treat for your furry family member. 

I love dried fruit and the convience of having it on hand at anytime.  I have never had dried Apricots like Newman's Own Organics.  They are so sweet and soft and sticky.  I didn't know that dried fruit could ever taste this good.  My husband wants me to try to dip them in dark chocolate.  I will have to let everyone know how that turns out.  I need to share the funny comment on the Apricot bag "What are Apricots?  Where monkeys sleep."  One of the four products one winner will receive is a bag of these tasty dried apricots.

We enjoyed these salty snacks...White Cheddar and Lightly Salted Soy Crisps and Salted Rounds and Thin Sticks Pretzels.  The Salted Rounds pretzels actually had an "N" in the middle of them.  My boys thought that was awesome.  I  have a confession to make I didn't share any of the White Cheddar Crisps with anyone...I ate the whole bag in one sitting....I need more of these. 

Check out all the candy sweetness goodies....We received Black, Strawberry and Tangerine Licorice.  These twits make me think of old fashioned licorice....It was delicious.

We are still enjoying the four packages of mints.  Each package contained four rolls of mints.  We tried Newman's Own Organics entire line including Cinnamon, Ginger, Peppermint and Wintergreen .  My favorite is Peppermint.   

We were able to treat ourselves to Fig Newmans - Low Fat and the Fat Free Variety.  They were very similar to Fig Newtons, but only better and I feel healthier.

I had never heard of or had a Hermit before Newman's Own Organics....I am hooked.  They are so chewy and soft...Spicy and sweet, perfect with a cup of coffee before bed.  They sent me Original and Ginger.  On the back of the package is said, "No Hermits were harmed, mistreated, pestered or annoyed in the making of these cookies".  What a fun thing to say! They were both out of this world but my favorite is the Original...so Another one of the four product someone will win is a package of Original Hermits.

 Cookies, cookies, and more cookies...even Alphabet cookies

I am amazed at the quality and variety of cookies Newman's Own Organics produces.  We are still working our way through this sweet crunchy goodness....Double Chocolate Mint Chip, Espresso Chocolate Chip and Chocolate Chip.....yum!

The cookies were the perfect bite size with plenty of chocolate chips.  The bags even came with a resealable tape tab.  The last of the four products some will win is their own bag of Newman's Own Organics Champion Chip Cookies.

Yes everyone even MORE Cookies.  Not just any cookie but Newman-O's!   A filled cookie that can meet any ones tastes...mint, ginger, peanut butter??

These cookies had the perfect balance of cookie and filling.  The filling complimented the cookie with out over powering the cookie.

Salem Baking Co. / Dewey's Bakery Review and Giveaway - $17 Value *Featured on Oprah

I was lucky enough a while ago to win a excellent Gift Basket via a blog giveaway from Gourmet Gift Baskets.com.  It included a small package of Parmesan Artichoke Garlic Cheese Biscuits from the Salem Baking Co.

I was pleasantly amazed at how unique and tasty these dainty biscuits were.  I went online and located Salem Baking Co.  Their main page showed some of their Moravian cookies were featured on Oprah's Holiday Gift Selection's.  Salem's Baking Company's artisan baking hertiage dates back to 1930.  Their bakery is located in the foothills of  North Carolina.  They specialize in time honored recipes and distinctive products which are baking in the homemade tradition using the finest, all natural ingredients from around the world.

Salem Baking Co. was nice enough to provide me with two of their specially crafted treats to try out and review.  They have offered to giveaway these two products to two of my bloggy friends (see below for further details).  I want to start by saying I was shocked at the great care that was taken to ensure these products arrived on my door step in perfect condition.  They were packaged carefully in a cold type wrapping with two small ice bags.  Wow!!

The first tasty, savory treat I sampled was Salem Baking Co. Classic Cheddar (Aged Sharp Cheddar) Cheese Biscuits.

These crunchy but not hard petite cheesy biscuits had a pleasant surprise with its flavor.  I noted a hint of "heat" and saw on the list of ingredients the final addition was habanero chili powder.  The added ingredient really helps to enhance the flavor of the cheddar cheese and make you wonder what else in rounding out this exquisite biscuit.

I enjoyed these biscuits straight out of the bag.  They are perfect for awakening palates before dinner or as an enhancement to soups or salads. 

I saved the Moravian Chocolate Dipped Spice Cookies for last, after my boys went to bed so I didn't have to share.

These are the perfect sweet delight after a meal or a late night indulgence.  Salem Baking Co. has combined the finest most cherished, yet healthful, ingredients from around the world  to create their Legendary Spice Cookie.  These cookies feature Asian giner, cloves from Madagascar and allspice from Jamaica + they are dipped in premium dark chocolate. 

What a perfect marriage of flavors and you don't have to feel so guilty about this indulgence.  As both ginger and dark chocolate have documented health benefits.  Plus five of these wafer thin delights only contain 160 calories.  My biggest problem was stopping at just five cookies. 

Salem Baking Company has worked wonders with these cookies as they as so thin, but are not over powered by the elegant dark chocolate.  The spices are also not over powering, but balanced to leave your taste buds wanting more.
