I thought so...

I love finding healthier alternatives to snack on...especially for my boys. 

I was pleased to find out how diverse the six flavors Turbana Plantain Chips offer including

Chili, Chili-lime, Lime, Sweet, Natural and Garlic.

Turbana was gracious and sent me out two of their flavors to try and honestly review.

Natural and Sweet.

I first want to apologize to my loyal fans and readers and those who are just finding Fishful Thinking today.  I typically include photos of the products I am privileged to sample and review and many times giveaway.  I didn't get the opportunity to photograph this beautiful hand peeled Plantain Chips...thanks to the assistance of my three VERY HUNGRY young boys. 

So with that said...I think you can guess...Turbana Plantain Chips were a HIT!  The Natural Chips were so simple and crunchy but not hard and beautiful as there natural flavor was allowed to shine through with each bite (even though I didn't get but two to enjoy myself).  I think these would be great with some of my homemade Sandhills Blackeyed Pea Salsa.  The chips seems sturdy enough to hold up to some dipping.

The Sweet Turbana Plantain Chips were not overly sweet but very balanced.  The flavor reminded me of a banana chip.  These would be perfect for a bedtime snack...and healthy. 

I can't wait to try more of the Turbana flavors (as long as I can keep them away for my boys).
