The benefits of Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder (KissMe Organics)

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Warmer weather = healthy habits + healthier food choices.  (In my world I am always striving for matter the season)

One way I am incorporating a healthier food ingredient is by using Organic Matcha.

What you have never heard of Matcha?  Boy, you are missing out!  Let me tell you first about the health benefits of Matcha (green tea powder):

ALL DAY ENERGY WITH INCREASED FOCUS without the jitters.  Matcha can give you 4 to 6 hours of steady mild energy.  I say mild because it is like a stimulant but a relaxant.  What a perfect combination!

IMPROVED SKIN HEALTH by protecting your skin from harmful UV rays.  It also can improve blood flow and oxygen levels which increases the overall quality of your skin.
METABOLISM BOOST and who doesn't just love that?  I know I do.  I was surprised to learn that consuming matcha green tea can increase your own body's rate of burning calories.  Typically you burn 8% to 10% of daily expenditure and matcha can increase it to between 35% to 43%!

And last but not least 137X of the Antioxidants of brewed green tea.  Antioxidants are so important as they are essential to boost your body's natural defenses against oxidation..especially as you age.

So are you wondering how you use matcha green tea powder?  I know I was when I first was introduced to this amazing organic tea product.

Organic matcha can be used in Lattes, Baking and Smoothies.

It is so quick and simple to add it to many recipes.  As you can see from the photo below the matcha is ground very fine.  It seems like this flour-like texture incorporates very easily.

Here is to your health!  Here is to Matcha!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

  1. Does this need to be made with a specific matcha powder?
