As anyone knows who follows my blog Fishful Thinking, I am always on the look out for new food products to try. I enjoy incorporating wonderful products with the food I prepare to make them a step above the rest. To make a dish stand out and leave a person wondering what something special was in that?
I have found the perfect company called "The Gracious Gourmet". They have an amazing line of Tapenades, Pestos, Chutneys, Spreads and Gift Sets. They have created unique combinations of flavors that are certain to please any palate.
The quality of their all-natural products is second to none and their uses are nearly unlimited. With the help of The Gracious Gourmet, serving great food has never been easier.
The Gracious Gourmet understands that their customers are busy, sophisticated people who want to save time in the kitchen, but still turn out exciting and innovative food.
I love how The Gracious Gourmet explains it "We want every one of your meals to be a special occasion". Trust me with their help in the kitchen, ANYTHING is possible!!
That being said...you don't even have to add The Gracious Gourmet's deliciousness to anything. I know that for a fact. You can eat it right out the jar. One of The Gracious Gourmet's spreads they provide me to sample was their Balsamic Four-Onion Spread.
I am so guilty of eating this right out of the jar. The spread was balanced perfectly. I loved the natural sweetness of the onions that blended with the tartness of the balsamic. After eating half the jar, I used it on a fresh loaf of bread as a tasty spread.
Let me tell you more about this taste bud party. It contains four different onions caramelized with balsamic vinegar, sugar and a special blend of spices. There are endless possibilities on what you can do with this spread...add it to sour cream for a fantastic dip...add it to your favorite balsamic dressing...
The other Gracious Gourmet product they sent out was their Award Winning Chile Red Pepper tapenade. Yes, Award Winning! Winner Connecticut Specialty Food Association - 1st Place Outstanding Pesto 2011.
This tapenade was the most beautiful deep red color. It was so beautiful I hated to eat it...but I am so glad I gave in.
It went perfect with my homemade beef au jus sandwich. I didn't even dip it in the sauce after adding The Gracious Gourmet's Chile Red Pepper Tapenade. It added just the right heat level without covering up the beef flavor.
Roasted red peppers are combined with garlic, cilantro and parsley and slowly cooked in olive oil with mild and spicy chile peppers. There is a hint of heat at the finish which will never overwhelm the palate.
So now that I have all of you wanting to get your hands on the Gracious Gourmet's products...you can check out their site and it will let you search by state for your nearest location or you can purchase from their on-line store.

ReplyDeleteNice review! They look great! You know it is good when someone can enjoy them straight from the jar on a spoon!
