That is how I "feel" about my new bra I received the other day to review and to Giveaway one away to a lucky person!

I am thrilled and thankful this opportunity found its way to me and my "girls".  I had never heard of the company Spanx by Sara Blakely before.  But I guarantee I will never forget about this company that was founded by an amazing woman who took it seriously when she didn't have the right undergarments to wear to a party.

I am such a mom and do not like to spend money on myself.  It seems like I am always cutting corners when it come to what I wear.  So when my fabulous box arrived from Spanx, I felt like a beauty queen.

I defrosted some our sealed Smoked Salmon in the refrigerator over night and it was read to enjoy in the morning.  Yes, I said morning.  What a perfect paring with some sourdough toast and eggs.  The 4oz portions were a perfect size to share with my husband (The only problem we had, was our boys LOVE Salmon!  So I think they had more of this amazing Solomon Falls Salmon than we did.).

We sampled the Black Pepper flavor Smoked Salmon and the Teriyaki Flavor Smoke Salmon for breakfast.  I first want to say I love how these meaty pieces of Salmon were packaged, to seal the air out, which protects the fish from freezer burn.

And the natural beauty of each piece of Salmon made me feel like I was on a boat fishing for our breakfast.  The salmon skin coloration is a work of art.

And I was pleased at how easy it separated from the firm flavorful fish.

Yes, this is a photo above is of the Teriyaki Flavor Smoked Salmon.  It's it beautiful?

It reminded me of some great jerky, but not tough and hard on the teeth.  It was so meaty and firm.  The smoke really shined through but the teriyaki flavor added a distinct sweetness, but not over powering.  I couldn't wait to eat another and another bite. 

To be honest, I have never had smoked salmon like this before.  It is truly a gourmet treat at an affordable price.  I was worried that after the salmon was thawed it would be mushy and "fishy".  It was not!  The texture was beyond perfect!!!  I am in love!

And another piece of salmon perfection....Black Pepper Flavor Smoked Salmon!

The black pepper flavor Solomon Falls Smoked Salmon was everything I envisioned.  The course pieces of black pepper were nice and fiery, which added a depth to the smoked flavor.  The texture was also very meaty.  It was easy to cut with a knife and made a beautiful presentation.

The 4oz Original Smoke Salmon and the awe inspiring Smoked Pink Side was so natural with the complexity of the smoke shining through.

Don't worry if you are not like us and eat every last bite of Solomon Falls Salmon that you have thawed out in one serving.....As, it will last several weeks in your fridge.  Just make sure to keep it covered and in the coldest area.

I have to say first I was delighted how such a petite bar could satisfy my hunger (considering each bar is only 120 calories).  Both flavors had a nice firm but soft and smooth texture.  They did not stick in my teeth and were pleasant to eat (If you are looking for something that taste like a candy bar these are not for you.  But if you are looking at making healthier food choices...Nimble bars are a great choice.)

My favorite was the Peanut Butter.  It had a nice light peanut butter flavor and was not overly sweet.  It was similar to other nutrition bars I have eaten in the past..but didn't leave me feeling like I was eating "twigs and sticks".

The Yogurt Orange Swirl was good and very light in flavor.  I was able to catch some slight orange tones.  I would definitely purchase both of these flavors again.

Working from home with children

Working from home with children is not easy, achieving balance between work and children can be extremely difficult to achieve. However, here are a few tips that should get you towards achieving the right ‘balance’

1. Include your children in what you are working on- if it’s feasible you should try and include your children in your work, explain to them what you do, and let them help you out. Through doing this they will eventually form an understanding and appreciation of your work and will want you to succeed and allow you to concentrate on your work.
2. Make the perfect office. Big advantage of working from home is that you have the opportunity to make the office of your ‘dreams’, or at least somewhere you will be comfortable working! Working from home gives you the chance to have a desk and chair that you want and will be able to work from. By using sites like eBay in combination with shipping sites you can find cheap couriers (try using the cheap courier services of uShip).
3. Childcare shouldn’t be a ‘no-go’ option. If your work is really intensive and requires a lot of concentration and effort, then considering childcare shouldn’t be an option that you have to ignore. By sending your child to daycare or arranging for a playgroup, they will be more active and will learn important social skills. And at least you will have some uninterrupted time to work on your business.
4. Make use the ‘office door’. This is the easiest way to visually tell your children that you are at “work” is to have a door on your office. The reasoning behind this is that they will come to associate you needing to work in your office as your job, and your time outside of the office as your time for them. Speaking from experience this association won’t be made instantly, but as the children became familiar with it; they will understand that when you enter the office it’s time for work and for them to be quiet.
5. Make use of the answering machine- Answering machines are often ignored but brilliant pieces of technology for working at home moms. If the phone rings with a business call while you are busy with the children or things are getting a loud around your home, then let the machine take the call and then callback when the kids are quiet or in the other room. This way you never miss an important call

Well, after these taste testing events...She's Hot, He's Spicy, Moore's Simply Fresh Horseradish Sauce hit the stores and then along came Moore's Simply Fresh Provencal Horseradish Sauce.

I was delighted at the more liquid consistency of Moore's Horseradish Sauces.  They are so pourable, but have a nice texture from the horseradish and oh the eye appeal from all the beautiful spices!

The Provencal had a wonderful heat from the horseradish which was tamed slightly by the mayonnaise base.  I could taste a nice dill undertone.  I can't wait to try this on some grilled fish. 

The She's Hot He's Spicy to be honest scared me a little bit.  I was concerned it would be over the top for my taste buds, but it was not.  Don't get me wrong it has some heat to it, but still allows the flavor of food to come through.  The combination of spices was intriguing..with possibly some dried mustard maybe?  I am not sure, but I know it is fabulous and like no other sauce I have ever tried.

It's Family Vacation time again! How about NewPort Beach?
