JOLLY TIME Pop Corn and October is National Popcorn Month Giveaway / Review / Recipe

Disclaimer: JOLLY TIME Pop Corn provided me with a free samples of their product to review, and I was under no obligation to review it if I so chose. Nor was I under any obligation to write a positive review in return for the free product and giveaway.

I am thrilled to be part of spreading the spookerific message that Poptober October is National Popcorn Month.

And what a great way to celebrate this scary month....

With sharing the popping love and a flavorful recipe.

Yes...popping like the eyeballs will be at your next Halloween celebration if you giveaway and/or create...

First the giveaway dismemberment part....

I was thinking we might hand out 100 Calorie mini bags of JOLLY TIME Healthy Pop for all the Trick or Treaters that will be stopping by to help celebrate National Popcorn Month.  I am certain all the goblins and ghouls would love to pop a nice warm bag of JOLLY TIME after a cold night of scaring up treats.

And the flavorful recipe - that will make an impression at school parties this year.....

JOLLY TIME Pop Corn Caramel Corn Apples (Thank you JOLLY TIME for this great recipe and idea).

All you need is:

6 cups of popped JOLLY TIME Blast O Butter Microwave Popcorn (Enter below for your chance to win a Free Coupon)

2 cups crisp rice cereal

1/2 cup chopped dried apples

1 - 14oz package of caramels (about 48 unwrapped caramels)

2 Tablespoons of water

2 Tablespoons of butter or margarine

1 tsp. ground cinnamon (I like to add a dash of nutmeg too)

Wooden Sticks

Just place all the popped popcorn, rice cereal and apples in a large kettle bowl.  In a medium saucepan (make sure you clean out all the frogs eyes and chicken lips first from your last potion) over low heat...add the caramels, water and butter.  Stir frequently until the caramels are melted.  Stir in the cinnamon.  Pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn mixture in the large bowl.  Toss to coat well.  Let it sit for 5 minutes.  Dampen your hands slightly (I like to use kitchen spray oil) and shape into 8 balls around the wooden sticks.  Place your creations onto lightly buttered wax paper and allow to set.

We can't wait to make these thanks to the JOLLY TIME Pop Corn kit we received in the mail.
The Halloween additions were not provided.  I just got into the spirit.

I am certain the popcorn ball maker will make this recipe a breeze.

And like I said before.....I was thinking maybe we might hand out 100 Calorie mini bags of JOLLY TIME Healthy Pop for all the Tricker Treaters that will be stopping by to help celebrate National Popcorn Month.

And the bag of JOLLY TIME Pop Corn kernels will make a great addition to our Holiday Tree with our traditional Popcorn and Cranberry Garland. (oops...I know it is only October!)

And for the love of the Halloween spirits!!!!  The JOLLY TIME Butter Light make with Smart Balance Oil.  A treat that even every adult will adore and not feel guilty for enjoying.

The use of Smart Balance with JOLLY TIME Pop Corn helps deliver a big Pop Corn flavor and the unique blend of oils help support cholesterol levels when used as part of the Smart Balance Food Plan.

So put down your broom sticks.  Really right now!!!  And get busy entering to win your own Free coupon for some JOLLY TIME Pop Corn.  Good Lucky and Happy Halloween and National Popcorn Month!

Before you are off and flying again, why not head on over to JOLLY TIME Pop Corn's Facebook, and Twitter pages.  Whoooo, Whoooo, Whooo (sorry, my pet owl interrupted me)...Who knows what you might learn?
