  3. I grew up on a farm and my best memory and my best memory was when my dad was teaching me to drive the tractor. It was my first and last lesson and it ended with him needing a beer :)

  5. I remember playing softball and watching movies with my dad. I might have been "daddy's little girl" but he wasn't afraid to treat me like the tomboy I was.

  6. My dad use to let me help him work on his classic cars. I wasn't much help at all but he patiently answered all of my questions. Now, I still don't know how to fix a car but I know what the repair are talking about.

  7. My father was a workaholic, working 2 jobs for our family.... but every Sunday, he would treat us to ice cream from Dairy Queen.... always a fond memory!

  11. My favorite memory of my dad is when he took me on an camping / fishing trip. It was just the two of us and he cooked over the campfire. It was a great time for just the two of us.

  12. My Dad was always a very generous man, he used to have a fruit stand as he grew way too many veggies and had too much fruit. But anyone that stopped he always have them about twice as much as what they bought.

  13. I wanted a guitar one year for Christmas, so I was disappointed when my dad handed me my gift in a tiny box. I thought, "Oh great, jewelry or something like that." But I opened it, and it was a guitar pick! He had my new guitar hidden in the closet. :)

  18. There are so many memories! He worked out of town and would be gone a lot during the week, but he often made us breakfast. He would ask what "kind" of pancake we wanted and within moments there would be a giraffe, a lion, a Mickey head, or even money on our plates!
