Good Hands for the Good Life #GoodLife

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Allstate for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Boy, doesn’t it feel like sometimes it is a challenge to find the positive in the world around us today?  I totally understand how fear and doubt can at times over take our thoughts and actions.  But, let’s put a stop to that all right now!

Like Allstate new brand vision states, “Good Hands for the Good Life”. (Allstate Good Life)  So close your eyes and think of five positive things that have happened over your lifetime.  Yes, I said three!  That shouldn’t be so hard.  And I will even join you.  Okay, my eyes are closed…are yours?

Here are my first three that came right to my mind and it seems like they all revolve around family.

1) Being a Cervical Cancer Survivor and along with that having a beautiful 3rd son to show for my triumph over the beast!

2) Being able to give birth to 3 beautiful sons.

3) Having amazing training with my job that helped me in a high stress situation and come home alive to my family.

Well, along with my three positives that happened over my life, each involved a moment or more of stress, fear and anxiety.  But, look all of it turned into fond and accomplished memories.

So take the time to look at the simple events in daily life and enjoy them for what they are.  We all need to take inventory and put things in perspective.  I think once we get to the step in our lives, we will all be better for those little moments.

You, know the moments when you wake up to your child telling you they love you.  Or how about fixing your partner their favorite meal and watching the joy it creates on their face?  I like how Allstate, which is an insurance company works everyday to help people like you and I create more good in our lives.  Yet, Allstate is there to help take care of the bad when in shows its ugly head.

I would love to hear about your three positive things that have happened over your lifetime.  And even better, how about those little moments throughout your day that make you slow down and really appreciate what you have. photo allstatelogo_300x60_zps5487a605.jpg
