Root Cellar Preserves Apple Cinnamon Pickles / Sweet Bread and Butter Pickle Chips Giveaway and Review - 2 Winners $32 Total Value

How many of you have fond memories of Homemade Preserves from your Grandparents...or your parents...or how about from loved one?

I know I do.  I can still remember the sites, sounds and aromas when my Grandmother would be canning her own...love grown produce from her large gardens out on their family farm.  There was nothing like cracking open one of the many different kinds of preserves she would create from scratch.  I especially loved her pickles....they were and still are amazing, bites of love.

I have now found a business that creates and cares for their preserves just as much as my Grandmother.  And the best part is they also make new flavorful combinations that are nothing like my Grandmother's....Flavor combinations that at first glance could be over looked, but with your first taste, trust me from personal experience...you won't be able to stop.

Root Cellar Preserves.....

were just as kind as my Grandmother and sent me three flavorful and perfect jars of their artisan love to review and giveaway one jar to two lucky bloggy friends!

I am first going to talk about the most unique an addictive jar I received....

Apple Cinnamon Pickles **All Natural**

What a spectacular explosion of flavor!  Each an every perfectly preserved pickle is in excess of 1/4" in width!  They are beautiful not to mention crispy, crunchy, slightly vinegary with a definitely presence of cinnamon.  They remind me of pickled beets, but they have a much better flavor and texture.

The only sad part is I am totally out of Apple Cinnamon Pickles.  I need to order more for the Holidays.  These would be perfect on a relish tray next to a big ham...trust me they will be the talk of the meal!

Root Cellar All Natural Bread & Butter Pickles

Apple Cinnamon...Bread & Butter...Sweet & Spicy
I need to provide a disclaimer with this review....after you try just one of these crunchy treats, you will never go back to buying your regular brand.  You can taste the garden freshness with each and every sweet, savory bite.

Root Cellar Bread & Butter Pickles are thinner and perfect to add to a sandwich.  The flavor is balanced as I love the sweetness, but each bite is followed up with a vinegar tang - that you traditionally don't get from large manufactured pickles.  I really enjoy the look of these pickles with all the spices floating freely amongst the pickles.

And last but definitely not least is...

Sweet & Spicy All Natural Pickles

Apple Cinnamon...Bread & Butter...Sweet & Spicy
Pour out the jar of this beautiful combination and your eyes will be excited and your stomach will be ask for a sample.  Each jar contains cucumbers, banana peppers, red bell peppers and all the spices and seasonings.  They are sweet and definitely spicy.  The heat is not overwhelming, so your palette and can function.  This is the perfect addition to a meat and cheese plate (or straight out of the jar).

The pickles are perfect...and cut so thick...at least 1/4"...oh and the Peppers...They can't be missed...they are also in large pieces.  A feast for the eyes and the stomach.

Preserving for a Great Cause Root Cellar Preserves is committed to the preservation of early American homesteads. Many of these buildings, which represent the historical foundation of our country are giving way to disrepair, neglect and rural development. Root Cellar Preserves has established a fund from its proceeds to support local community efforts to preserve these homesteads for future generations.

Now that I have a captive audience.....

The Giveaway information.....2 Lucky Winners will be selected via Random.org.
