Endangered Species Chocolate Bar Review and Giveaway $20 Value

Stop for a moment and imagine the world without these sights, smells, and sounds. Biodiversity enriches our lives and inspires awe.

Every day, plant and animal species face habitat destruction, human-made pollutants, the introduction of non-native species, and countless other threats. It’s the perfect time to be part of the solution. Support global efforts to protect our Earth’s flora and fauna today.

10% of Endangered Species Chocolate's net profits support species, habitat, and humanity. Read about these animals inside each of their chocolate bar wrappers.

So as you are basking in the chocolate deliciousness..you can be learning something too!
 Endangered Species Wrappers are even....

  • 35% Post-Consumer recycled content that is 100% recycled and recyclable (inner

  • foil wrapper excluded)

  • Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Certified

  • Printed with water-based inks

  • No environmentally harmful coatings

  • Chlorine-free bleaching

  • Yes, it is true, you can lose the guilty feelings when you are purchasing delicious chocolate to enjoy...because by purchasing Endangered Species Chocolate you are actually making a positive impact on our world!

I was delighted to find such an amazing company with the want, need and ability to be stewards for the natural environment and its inhabitants (plus they make very good chocolate).

Endangered Species Chocolate sent me three of their All Natural 3 oz Chocolate Bars to review and provide a giveaway of $20 of Endangered Species Chocolate to one lucky bloggy buddy.
I want to share that all of these Chocolate bars were made with ethically traded, shade grown cacao and all-natural ingredients!  How many chocolate bars can say that?

Plus, as you have seen in one of my previous photos...each bar features photos of an at-risk species with educational information about the species on the inside of the wrapper.

All the chocolate was so nice a shiny with the Endangered Species Chocolate "tree" logo on each and every square.

My favorite bar I sampled was the Smooth Milk Chocolate featuring the Sea Otter.
It was sooo smooth and creamy.  It slowly melted in my mouth as I learned Mother sea otters use the water to help protect pups from harm.

The Dark Chocolate with Cranberries & Almonds featuring the Gray Wolf was also complex and delicious.
It was crunchy!  It was chewy!  It was dark and luscious!  Plus I learned Gray Wolves travel in packs of 4 to 7.

The last bar I sampled was the Dark Chocolate with Deep Forest Mint featuring the so important Rain Forest.
The Deep Dark Chocolate stole the show with this bar.  The mint had a nice light note in this extreme 72% Cocoa bar.  It left my mouth nice and cool.  Did you know...The Amazon Rainforest alone provides more than 20% of the world's oxygen supply.

The past few years we have converted to reusable bags for everything, not just groceries--I have bulk bags, produce bags, and some nicer bags for shopping at department stores long with my regular grocery bags. We invested in a water filter and several good stainless steel water bottles to eliminate the need for all that plastic. We use cfl lights throughout and LED's in the two lamps we use most.
