Romanicos Fine Artisan Chocolates Review and Giveaway $75 Value

I like to think I am quite the Chocolate connoisseur (after years of hard work and dedication to constantly trying new chocolates and striving to find new and better chocolatiers).  Until, I recently had the privilege (I whole heartily mean that) to try out some mind blowing chocolates, I couldn't remember the last time a chocolate made me melt inside and out.

I will NEVER forget Romanicos Chocolate!  How could I after sampling...

I was beyond excited to be given such a great opportunity to try out Romanicos Fine Artisan Chocolates, all the way from Miami, Florida. (Plus one VERY LUCKY bloggy friend will get a chance to sample Romanicos Cube Box, a $75 Value!)
The Romanicos Cube Box which will be given away!

We are currently in the middle of a heat wave and I was concerned on how Romanicos Chocolates were going to ship my free samples to review and what condition they were going to  arrive.  I should have known better than to worry about that detail.  Romanicos takes such great pride in the quality chocolate products they create, they took all the necessary steps to make sure their chocolates would arrive in pristine condition.

All the Romanicos chocolates arrived in a box, packaged inside a freezer style packaging.  Inside the packaging was a polar pack that was still nice and cold.  All the Romanicos chocolates were individually wrapped and sealed in plastic protecting them from any undue moisture.  Each of the individual packages were beautifully held together with ribbon.  I felt so special receiving this package from Romanicos.

The feelings of excitement and anticipation only grew upon my opening of these outstanding packages from Romanicos Chocolates.
Romanicos Handmade Truffles
Romanicos Chocolate Art
Romanicos Truffle Bites

They are works of art!  My first though was "Oh my Gosh, how am I going to eat these beautiful chocolates.  I don't want to destroy their beauty."  But the moment I was stunned by their artful perfection, my nose started smelling the chocolate aroma rising from the boxes.  I actually started salivating.  I truly felt like a child again.  My mind raced on which Romanicos chocolate I was going to sample first, and second, and third....

I was not prepared for the experience that happened with Romanicos Chocolates!  I have been trying to figure out how to express what happened to my taste buds indulging in this Venezuelan Chocolate delicacy.
The Truffles actually had a date on the box of when they were created as Romanicos suggests you enjoy their truffles within five days of when they were made.  These truffles that were delivered to my door were created less then 24 hours ago.  Wow!  How is that for service and each truffle only contains 38 calories!  I have NEVER had a truffle that has melted in my mouth like Romanicos did!  You can taste the hand crafted love used to create each and every one. Total freshness. NO Preservatives, Artificial Flavor or Extra Sugar!  I think this is the closest I have come to heaven here on earth, really!  Romanicos includes an convenient menu with their chocolates so you can see and know what flavor experience you are about to enjoy.

The Truffle Bites are a nice contrast of textures.  The outside thin shell of crunchy chocolate cracks with a gentle bite exposing the soft melt in your mouth truffle.  "They are made with Venezuelan premium chocolate. They are the perfect choice for those who like the “crunch factor” plus creamy chocolate centers. The best of both chocolate worlds."  The Orange Delight was very refreshing with the bright flavor of fresh orange blending perfectly with the rich chocolate.
The Chocolate Art was so special, unique and beautiful, beside being packed full of fresh flavors. Romanicos Chocolate Art are "small bonbons, made by hand with beautiful colored patterns on top. They are filled with fresh fruits pastes, spreads, or nuts. They are crunchy outside and some are solid chocolate with a whole nut. They are made with a special mix of premium Belgium chocolate with Venezuelan Chocolate."  The passion fruit was like nothing I have ever had before.  The liquid center was a beautiful golden color with a delightful tartness that tickled my tongue.

I was excited to try the extra exotic chocolate bars that Romanicos sent along for my review.  Some of the flavors were very unconvencual, but worked.

I was able to sample Romanicos Cayenne Pepper Chocolate Bar.  The heat was a nice surprise, but was not overwhelming.  It really seemed to wake up my palette, so I was able to taste the dark chocolate in a different way.  The 65% Health Artisan Dark Chocolate Bar was heavenly.  It was not bitter and still had the ability to melt so smoothly in my mouth.  The 65% Dark Chocolate Nutmeg & Pistachio bar was very complex.  The nutmeg played a huge roll with the flavor, but the pistachio was salted and added a whole another depth to this chocolate experience.  ***10% of the proceeds from these chocolate bars go to ChocolatesForAutism.org***

I was a little puzzled by Romanicos combination of Dark Chocolate, Soy Beans and Sea Salt, until I tried it.  The soy beans added a nice light healhty crunch throughout this bar.  The sea salt played lightly in the background and helped to balance out the chocolate.  I would definitely enjoy this Romanicos bar again. joined together to enhance their benefits and your pleasure!  Walnut & Honey was another perfect combination. "65% Dark Chocolate bar from Venezuela combined with walnuts and real clover honey, classic flavors that you will love. Pure elements from nature." And last but definitely not least is the Wild Cherry Dark Chocolate bar.  I am a huge cherry fan and this far exceeded my expectations.  I loved the fact sweet and tart cherries were added to this decadent chocolate.  The cherries themselves were nice, soft and chewy.  I am sad that this bar is already gone.

I will Never experience chocolate the same way again.  Romanicos has to be one of the finest and most elegant chocolates on the market today.

Now on to the giveaway details.....

One Winner will receive: A giant gift box of decadent chocolates containing our three lines of chocolate (Truffles, Chocolate Art, and our Truffle Bites). The Cube Box Mixed contains 36 total pieces with: 12 Chocolate Truffles (assorted flavors), 12 Chocolate Art (assorted flavors), and 12 Truffle Bites (assorted flavors).  A $75 Value!!

If you get in touch with Romānicos Chocolate today, chances are you will be amazed at the quality of their products and the distinctive lines and flavors they have in the market. It is hard to think that less than a decade ago, Romānicos Chocolate was just an idea in the mind of Alejandra Bigai, a Venezuelan entrepreneur with a formal education in Graphic Design, and a strong passion for the culinary experiences introduced to her by her grandmother
